Lana Poklad earned a Masters Degree in Choral Conducting and Music Education from Odessa State Conservatory of Music, Odessa, Ukraine, in 1997. She immigrated to the United States in 2000 and actively worked in the San Francisco Bay Area music scene. From 2008 through 2011 she lived and worked in Germany. After returning to the Bay Area she happily resumed her active musical life.
Her long list of acheivements includes conducting large scale choral/orchestral works, directing musical theater and opera productions, working as director of music in churches and being a Middle School band director. She is the founder of the Campanelli Childrens' Choir, Vallejo, and the Center of Slavic Culture, Berkeley, CA.
